Monthly Social & Self-Advocacy Group — Adults with Down Syndrome (21+)

Monthly Social & Self-Advocacy Group — Adults with Down Syndrome (21+)

A warm, welcoming monthly gathering where adults with Down syndrome can connect, make friends, and have their voices heard. The London Down Syndrome Association is piloting this new program for adults aged 21 and older — a regular, friendly place to belong.

Across four monthly evenings, participants spend time together, share how their month has gone, choose their own group activities, and help shape what the group does. The group is co-led by self-advocates — adults with Down syndrome themselves — so peer leadership and belonging are built in from the start.

Each participant is warmly welcomed to attend alongside a family member, caregiver, or support person.

This pilot program is made possible with funding from the Canadian Down Syndrome Society.
